Kenneth J. Stethem, Founder, Chairman and CEO

Stethem is a retired Navy SEAL and Senior Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. He has served on SEAL Team FOUR, SEAL Team EIGHT and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG). Stethem participated in a multitude of presidential protection details, developed Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEOs) and also planned several Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIOs).  In 2005, Stethem recognized the deficiencies and limitations of intermediate force options, and undertook the most extensive medical and safety R&D effort ever conducted for an intermediate force option. This endeavor has evolved into Aegis Industries. Stethem has nearly 30 years of experience in the security industry, and has developed training courses for both military and civilian personnel.  His work has taken him throughout Western Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Central & South America, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.
